stage 1 of a piece im workin on. there will be a second character on the other side with a guitar and the hook end of the neck will curve around this guys head like the wing on his keytar.

I hadn't thought of a crowd, but i was thinking of adding in bars of music (taken form random bits of actual music sheets and having them float around the two, a crowd would be fun tho

That looks really cool! It reminds me of an updated version of The Violinist of Hamlin if you have ever heard of that anime series.

At any rate, the only thing that sort of throws me off it the nose and chin lining. I don't know exactly why, but it looks somehow flat to me. :confused:

Are you sure it's supposed to be fuzzy? Cause I'm pretty sure metal shouldn't do that...

I think that's because of the big black area on the inside of his jacket. Perhaps a bit more shading around his face is required to fix that, or break up that black area with some grey.
